New iOS app, Mix-Tape, brings together the best of Apple Music, WhatsApp, Twitter, and Instagram to deliver custom Mix-Tapes to lovers, friends, and even the general public.

The California Science Center will take guests on a tour of the solar system alongside pioneering robotic probes, landers, and orbiters in “Touch the Stars 3D,” premiering on January 17, 2020.

Touch the Stars 3D, directed by Luke Ployharand produced by Afterglow Studios, showcases humanity's exploration of space. Rendered in stunning 8K resolution, the film chronicles the valiant exploration of the solar system by unmanned robotic spacecraft with well-known names like Mariner, Voyager, and Galileo.
Ployhar said, "Touch the Stars 3D looks at the history of robotic space exploration, how these spacecraft helped us understand the solar system in which we live, and how they prepared us for the next generation of explorers, those that will transform us from a one planet species to an interplanetary species."

Robert Downey Jr. electrifies one of literature’s most enduring characters in a vivid reimagining of the classic tale of the man who could talk to animals: Dolittle.
 
After losing his wife seven years earlier, the eccentric Dr. John Dolittle (Downey), famed doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s England, hermits himself away behind the high walls of DolittleManor with only his menagerie of exotic animals for company. 

But when the young queen (Jessie Buckley, Wild Rose) falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure, regaining his wit and courage as he crosses old adversaries and discovers wondrous creatures.

Open on South La Brea, Los Angeles, minutes from LACMA, FLUTTER is an innovative, immersive art experience, designed for anyone in search of being in an environment that evokes pure happiness and joy.

FLUTTER is a ticketed exhibition, offering exciting installations which will run for a limited period of six-months before the next phase of artists are introduced. This format provides artists with a new forum for exploration and experimentation while still remaining true to the integrity of their practice.

Suitable for visitors of all ages, FLUTTER’s mission is to bring contemporary fine art into everyday life in a way that is interactive, encouraging community and creativity. 
“Studies show that interacting with art helps us think and feel differently about the world. It has been demonstrated that art helps us express greater empathy and show more tolerance to people different from ourselves.” The Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health.
The inaugural installation includes the work of fifteen coveted contemporary artist who have global exhibition experience at institutions such as The Guggenheim (New York, Berlin, Bilbao, and Venice), MoMA, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Russia’s National Center for Contemporary Art, amongst others.

FLUTTER is the first of its kind; a sensory journey spanning multiple mediums, where visitors are able to touch and experience the art which includes Virtual Reality, projection mapping, Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR), climbable furniture as well as a giant sphinx, day-glow lighting and architectural structures.

Artists include: Katie Stout, Jacolby Satterwhite, Jillian Mayer, Saya Woolfalk, Leah Guadagnoli, Cyril Lancelin of Town & Concrete, Liz Collins, digital media duo Laia Cabrera and Isabelle Duverger (in collaboration with Aniol Saurina Masó), Elise Peterson, Guillermo Santoma (presented by etage projects) as well as Job Piston in collaboration with the award- winning architecture studio, Charlap Hyman and Herrero along with NAR, the NYC-based trans producer, musician and DJ widely known for his work with Rihanna’s Fenty collection.

A percentage of the proceeds of FLUTTER will be donated to Born This Way Foundation.

Each artist involved donated a piece of work which was auctioned in November 2019 with all profits going to the non-profit organization.

Each artist has taken over a space within FLUTTER’s 1920s art deco space with one mantra in mind – the play-date.
“We chose the theme of play date for the inaugural exhibition because it was important to offer an experience that incites wonder and unadulterated feelings of excitement; everything in the world can be so heavy and serious that our focus was reprieve, fun, and playfulness,” Chief Curator, Karen Robinovitz, who is on the Board of the Brooklyn & Bronx Museum and has an extensive background in marketing, fashion, social media and contemporary art, said.
FLUTTER is also excited to collaborate with Flavor Paper, a Brooklyn-based wallpaper brand known for creating compelling conversational designs that flip tradition on its head.

Flavor Paper worked with the artists to reimagine their works into wallcoverings, which are also available to visitors of the space to purchase so that they may take part of the experience home.

Karen Robinovitz, who met Founder and Creative Director Jon Sherman on the board of The Brooklyn Museum, has always loved his creations, making the collaboration a natural synergy; Flavor Paper made the perfect partner to transform the space.
“I like creating spaces for people to enjoy and explore. I liked the accessibility and the cohesive vision behind FLUTTER. Play is important to recharge and engage people. A playdate is basically a mini collaboration, which is how most good ideas come about. I don't think a lot of art makes people happy, but it has the ability to help us see things from a different perspective which can shake a person out of their personal condition,” Katie Stout said.
“I was drawn to this project because I needed a context to play with lighter themes and give myself balance from the aggressive darker narratives in my current work. The ability to be present and mindful is a play date for me,” Jacolby Satterwhite said.

Directed by Joachim Rønning, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” carries on the story of Disney's most iconic villain.
