Hey, I am Jesus and I run ThisFunktional.com. Since starting to really work with kids I have decided to have a site dedicated especially to kid-friendly content and content parents can use.
This venture is not something I can do on my own, ThisFunktionalJunior.com will include many posts that are written, advised upon or co-written by the youth I am around, most often my nephews who keep me busy, busy, busy.
Aside from spending time with the kiddos, I am a volunteer sports coach, robotics mentor, multimedia instructor, journalist, influencer (whatever that means) and trying to live an active life.

#DarkPokeWill is a young kid who is a fantastic reader, great student and active kid. Although enjoying video games, electronics and technology. He spends time reading, doing sports and learning new skills.
Being the active youth, keeps him busy, busy, busy and that’s a good thing. The skills he learns now will be what he uses in the future to help himself succeed, but help his family and friends as well. Building an environment of co-empowerment through team activities is key.
The opinions of #DarkPokeWill are influenced by parents, teachers, mentors and coaches. This site will also work as a way to express creative ideas and opinions.
#DarkPokeNoah
#DarkPokeNoah is the youngest of the bunch, for the time being, and quite the original character. He is intelligent and understand much more than he lets on, which is both good and bad. He is already in school, but much like everything he does, he plays by his own rules and takes things day by day.
An active youth as well, #DarkPokeNoah plays many sports and partakes in many activities, some along his brother. Still, he, much like many of todays youth spends time on his iPad, on his electronics and on YouTube consuming pop culture as much as he can. Video games are his thing as well and can usually get the hang of any game quickly and excel at game play.
His opinions are creative and educated, even for someone so young and this will be a new experience for him.
